FRSD has successfully completed two research projects on Primates in the Western Ghats range of Mountains in southern districts of Tamilnadu with the kind support of KNCF, Japan and IPS, USA. FRSD has been awarded a seed grant to revive traditional water purification technologies to combat water borne diseases by the distinguished Pollination Project on February 18, 2014. The Founder Mr Paramanandan will utilise the small grant for educationl materials and distribution of informaiton on the traditional technology. FRSD thanks the Pollination Project for the support for a noble cause and for a social change.

As an ICANN Fellow, I attended the ICANN 46 Meeting in Beijing, China during April 2013. It was unforgettable. Impressed with the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City.

National Environmental Awareness Programs are conducted regularly in rural Madurai District by the FRSD. This year, our Foundation conducted NEAC 2011-2012 on " Forests and Sustainable Livelihood" and conducted practical demonstration on biological farming utilising resources from forests.

The Chief Functionary of the FRSD has completed a Fellowship Program of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) conducted in Singapore from 19 June 2011 to 25 June 2011. New gTLD was approved during the historic meeting.
